Workshop Summary

At the end of the workshop, business owners and marketing professionals will be able to unlock the full potential of their partnerships with creative agencies. By the end of this session, participants will gain the tools and know how to communicate more effectively with agency teams, write clearer briefs, and lead collaborations that drive stronger results.

Course Description

In the age of rapid digital transformation, businesses are relying more than ever on external partners to fill specialized marketing roles. But without the right communication, these relationships often become inefficient, expensive, and frustrating.

This workshop empowers small to medium-sized businesses to become stronger collaborators and more strategic clients. Through practical tools and interactive discussions, participants will learn how to brief agencies clearly, set shared objectives, and create a partnership mindset that gets things done—on time and on budget.

You’ll learn how to lead agency relationships instead of just managing them, bridging the gap and ensuring that your vision translates into impactful execution.

Course Objectives

By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  1. Develop Clear, Actionable Briefs: Translate your business and marketing strategies into briefs that inspire and guide agency teams effectively.
  2. Set and Align on Objectives: Define goals, KPIs, and deliverables with clarity to ensure everyone is working toward the same outcomes.
  3. Build Productive Agency Partnerships: Establish long-term relationships based on trust, communication, and shared success.
  4. Identify and Avoid Common Pitfalls: Recognize and prevent the missteps that often derail agency collaborations—such as vague direction, shifting expectations, or unclear ownership.
  5. Use Tools to Streamline Workflows: Apply tools, checklists, and stakeholder maps to simplify communication and planning across projects.

Who Should Attend?
